Administration - Installation - Core: Nginx Requirement for ILIAS7

At Wismar University we are using Apache for "decades". Because of that we are lacking experience and knowlegde in using nginx. Further, we are authenticating our members via shibboleth.

So my questions  regarding those ILIAS7 requirements are:

- Can we use Apache and shibboleth with ILIAS 7 - with which negative side effects?
- Could we use nginx and shibboleth - and does anyone have helpful experience with this?
- What can you recommend in my case?
