Administration - Installation - Core: Re: Re (2): Updating from ILIAS 5.3 to 7

I just performed an upgrade on an ILIAS 5.3 test installation.

In my case, the following steps were important BEFORE upgrading:
1. Change root skin to delos
2. Uninstall plugins (and remove code!)
3. Disable cache if activated

>> I can't judge the criticality of the variations - this must be done by the creator of these steps (..).
@rklees: Can you shed any light on this?
