Administration - Installation - Core: ILIAS 8 with PHP 8.1

As in Jour Fixe announced, the planned maintenance for version 8 goes until fall 2024. But PHP 8 is supported only until 11.23.
This means that ILIAS 8 must also run in PHP 8.1!
So, is that how it's planned?
