Didactic Template Forum: Changing a role template doesn't seem to have any effect

Hi all,

When I change the role template for Course Members (il_crs_member) the changed permissions are not used when creating a new course. Is this normal behaviour and if so, why are these templates available? 
For example:

• Open the role template for Course Members.


• Uncheck Visible and Read for Folders


• Save the template


• Create a course


• Create a folder in the course


• Check the permissions of Course Members on the folder. The permissions still show the Folder's Visible and Read settings as checked.

If this is a bug let me know and I'll report it as such.
