ILIAS is a web application, you use a browser as the "client". There are plenty of options to choose from on Linux.
I am aware it is a web application. I am actually a student in an Ilias powered course atm and we use clients that are installed to eiter windows or MacOS.
Can you point me to the right direction on how to connect to an instance via the browser as you suggest?
My stating point is a link I have. This replies with a error though
"The address wasn’t understood
Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (http) isn’t associated with
any program or is not allowed in this context.
You might need to install other software to open this address."
On the Winwows machine we use in the school there is a client that is able to open that link and where the 3d space then enfolds.
I can not say though how much the instance I am trying to connect to is customized and whether those customizations may be conflicting with browser based acces.
