Administration - Installation - Core: Linux Client - where and how?

I am participating in an online retraining which is being held on ILIAS. The installation instructions for ILIAS say that Linux is supported for the client. However I can not find any hint where to get this client from and how to install it. Maybe I am just not seeing the obvious?

Can anyone point me to the right direction in this ?
