We are probalby switching all our users to CAS. In order to do that, we basically have to change the columns
usr_data.ext_account and usr_data.auth_mode; ext_account to hold the CAS username (no change as it's the same as our LDAP user name) and the auth_mode to be cas. I assume that to be a similar procedure for Shibboleth. You can easily lookup reference values from mentioned newly created Shibboleth accounts in the ILIAS database.
