You are welcome - and welcome to the Ilias community! Please keep us posted on how the postgres works out! I am going the replicated mysql way with memcached, but am definitely interested in how the postgres works out for you.
We just finished running pilots in Ilias 5. We are now transitioning into making Ilias our production LMS over the next 6 months with approximately 80,000 active learners.
