after setting up more than one LDAP server configrations in ILIAS 5.4.2 I tried to apply "Username filter" (Benutzernamen Filter) to assign user login attempts to dedicated LDAP servers.
I expected ILIAS would query only those LDAP-Servers where "Username filter" matches the username. However it don't, it just queries all LDAP servers in predefined order.
I tried several strings and regEx for "username filter".
Given the server is responsible for domain base dn DC=mysubdomain,DC=mydomain,dc=de and the username is user@mysubdomain.mydomain.de I tried:
string with wildcard: *mysubdomain.mydomain.de
or regEx: mysubdomain\.mydomain\.de$
Logging in with username from an other domain also starts a LDAPQuery to that server.
Can somebody please explain the meaning of "Username filter" in LDAP configuration and how to use it the correct way?
